The iconic Sturt's Desert Pea (Swainsona formosa) and South Australian floral emblem is one of Australia's most famous native wildflowers and is a well adapted desert plant found in Central Australia. These stunning, bright red flowers with the black centre known as a 'boss' are from the Fabaceae family and naturally grow on our property here in Ilparpa, Northern Territory.  An extremely delicate flower that wilts almost immediately once picked, a lot of patience is required to press and dry these beautifully unique flowers. Once dried the flower is still recognisable with its dark red/maroon petals and black centre.

Pendant is a Reuleaux Triangle 30mm x 30mm available on a 45cm or 50cm 14K Gold or Silver plated necklace.

Necklaces are tarnish resistant, nickel-free 2mm oval link with a 10mm Parrot clasp attached. 40mm extension chain and chain tag to finish off the necklace.
